Applying for membership

Joining and flying with the Flying Tigers Group is absolutely free. To become a member pilot you must pass our automated entrance exam.  The exam is multiple choice with 40 questions. You will need to score above 70% to continue the registration process. We feel the average flight simmer should have no problem with our entrance exam.  The entire sign-up process is completely automated and it should only take a few minutes to complete.  To apply for membership pilots should meet the following requirements:

The pilot must own a working copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002-2006. Other flight simulators are also acceptable.

The pilot must be at least 13 years old.

The pilot must submit the first pilot report in 14 days.  Thereafter the pilot is required to submit one pilot report every 3 months or lose membership. This is strictly enforced, we do delete members for non-compliance.

The pilot must show active interest, discipline and professionalism.

Online flying is not a requirement, online flying is optional. We are not Vatsim snobs.

The pilot must behave in a civilized manner on our forum.

The pilot must provide a valid e-mail account so management can get in touch if there is any problem or event.

The pilot must be willing to receive e-mails from management on occasion.

The pilot must not provide a Hotmail, Gmail,Yahoo or mail.com e-mail address.

The pilot must sign up only once with one of our virtual airlines.

The pilot must not be a paranoid cookie freak. We use cookie-based authentication only for our members' convenience, nothing more.

The pilot agrees to read our new pilots section and operations manual before his/her first flight.

Last but not least the pilot agrees to participate and have fun!

Because the Flying Tigers Group is a conglomerate of virtual airlines, once you sign up, you have full access to all our virtual airlines.  You only need to sign up with one.  Choose your favorite airline, favorite website or base your selection on whatever criteria you like.  Once you are a member, you will be able to file pilot reports for all of the following airlines:
