By registering with VA France, members accept membership terms and conditions. Any violation of these will lead to membership termination without notice nor delay.

General membership terms

Registration is free and open to anyone more than twelve (12) years old. Only one account per person is allowed (with VA France or any of our affiliate virtual airlines, as members of the Flying Tigers Group [FTG]). By registering, the pilot accepts the responsibility to provide correct and uptodate information : any registration performed with invalid or wrong data will be denied.
Due to some previous abuse and potential privacy issues, we regret we cannot accept "throw-away" e-mail addresses- such as those offered by Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo or mail.com. Announcements will be issued on a regular basis, pointing the lack of use of a valid e-mail address. In that case, the pilot account might be deleted at our discretion. We reserve the right to deny membership to anyone without any justification.

VA France, as FTG affiliate member virtual airline, has a message board (here). It is highly recommended that you sign up with it once your VA France registration successful ; you'll have to mention your pilot ID upon board registration, or it will not be accepted.
On the message board, you will be able to make contact with other VA France and FTG pilots, and thus take an active part to a lively community.

Account Termination

An account may be deleted at any time on demand of the pilot, or by the management's initiative. All flight hours and logbook data are then deleted without any possible compensation. All deletions are permanent and cannot be undone. If a pilot account is deleted by the management, he might not be informed, and will not be able to pretend to any compensation. Pilot accounts will be deleted if the pilot does not fly at least every three months.

Flight Operations

New members have to submit their first PIREP (PIlot REPort) within 14 days after registration. Pilots are asked to file a PIREP at least once every third month. Any user failing to comply with the 14-days or 3-months rule will have his account deleted without notice. All simulated flights must use real airline schedules from our site or from uptodate official sources. This includes as well the aircraft type mentioned on the schedules. We do not allow fantasy flights ; any flight diverting from original destination will not be eligible for a PIREP.

Online flight (IVAO, VATSIM)

Registration with online organizations like IVAO or VATSIM is not compulsory, but is highly recommended. VA France organizes online events on a regular basis, where VA pilots can meet and take profit of online ATC.

On IVAO, you will be able to be registered as VA members using the IVAO VA System. Please note that we only use it to keep a trace of your IVAO registration, and that you must not send PIREPs using your IVAO account. All PIREPs sent using this way will be refused.
