Lufty VA simulates real-world flight operations, flying its aircraft and routes in the virtual world of Flight Simulator. Members of Lufty Virtual Ailine freely choose flights which they then fly in Flight Simulator using realistic airline procedures. Flight hours and experience are automatically saved in the pilot's logbook and as flight hours accumulate, members consequently progress through the ranks.

We offer you a routes and schedules database that is continuosly updated to reflect actual Lufthansa flight operations. All passenger flights, all airports, all countries, all aircrafts. You will be able to experience all major airplane concepts, Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, etc. and try them across the globe thanks to Lufthansa extended route system.

Beginners will find all they need to start flying in no time thanks to the simple manuals and tutorials on the website. Advanced simmers will find all the flights they ever dreamed of thanks to our flight search engine and dozens of affiliates virtual airlines and alliances.


Freighter operations are simulated too. Virtual pilots can take their MD-11 out of the hangar and deliver goods with the world recognized German precision and professionalism! No matter if you use the PMDG Precision Manual payware MD-11 or a freeware one.
You are free to customize your Flight Simulator the way you want. We support Microsoft Flight Simulators (mainly FS 2004 and FS X versions) as its the most used, but users of other flight simulators (like X-plane) are welcome and encouraged to join too. Lufty VA membership and operations are website-based to maximize freedom and compatibility.

Since Lufthansa owns a large part of Austrian Airlines we have now integrated all its operations into Lufthansa VA.

All Austrian Airlines routes and aircrafts are made available and can be flown around Europe and around the world. As for any flight you can do within the Flying Tigers Group, all Austrian flights will count in your flight experience.
