We've been on a roll lately adding airlines as affiliates. This means all their routes can be flown without gateway restrictions. We've added several airlines with the 737NGX in mind.
- Caribbean Airlines / Air Jamaica
- LAN Colombia while they still have the NG
- Flydubai
- Qatar Airways
- Aerolineas Argentinas
- Lion Air
- Webjet
We've also added the following classic airlines
- Swissair from the '50s to the '90s
- Alitalia from 1995
For Cargo we've added:
- EVA Air Cargo
- Saudi Arabian Cargo
- Cargojet
The updated FTG Ops Manual Revision 14 is available for download.
We are also overhauling all of our classic schedules. First up are classics for British Airways Concorde routes across the world, many thanks to Malcom Wood for these. Next we added classic routes for Cathay Pacific from the 1950s to the 1960s. Thanks to the guys at Qantas Virtual we added schedules from 1969 and 1987. Then we added some really interesting schedules for the Boeing 377 Stratocruiser for United, Northwest and Pan Am; perfect for wonderful A2A model.
Next Sunday, Sept. 25 we will be announcing a surprise addition to FTG. Stay tuned.
After a long hiatus FTG is beggining to rumble once again. We are in the final phase of preparation for the FTG relaunch. Some of what you'll see looks the same but there will be some new as well.
Markus has already finished FTG ACARS V3.1 and that is being tested. This portal is in the works with all kinds of possibilities for the future. All the news and updates will be posted right here in this blog. We'll see if we can intergrate the portal user database with our virtual pilot member database, something we're looking into. Also in development is our very own FTG Wiki. Instead of having a user manual we'll have all of our rules and regulations right on the wiki. This will be much more convenient for management to update and for change control.
